Mars in Cancer: A Guide through Each House & Rising Sign

After a little over 7 months & a retrograde in Gemini, Mars is finally in Cancer until May 20th. Welcome to your guide through this transit in 2023!

First of all, it may be particularly interesting for you to pay attention to what will come up during this transit: Mars’ next retrograde will be in Cancer in late 2024-early 2025, so themes experienced at this time are likely to resurface later! Disclaimer: a planet’s transit through a sign/house is only a small part of its story in your chart & life. Because Mars is a malefic, you will see negative connotations in this thread. This is not intended to be fatalistic but more as a guide through the themes you may encounter.

Please do not be alarmed or think everything will go wrong! There are a lot of other (positive) things going on in the sky atm. The things you see may only affect you under specific conditions (ex: if Mars is activated by profections, in a day chart, etc.) This is only intended to provide you with a useful framework to work with, for example with planetary remediation. Here’s a guide I wrote on Mars remediation, you may find it useful to navigate Mars at this time: https://www.heloastro.com/blog/remediating-mars. Good luck!
